Better Outcomes for Young People Leaving Care – Supported by Australia’s Largest Social Impact Bond
COMPASS Leaving Care is a Social Impact Bond that provides a ground-breaking program that delivers positive outcomes for younger people transitioning from Out of Home Care.
COMPASS is a two year program that supports young people and sets them on a positive pathway to independence. The young people have the support of a Key Worker and specialised services. The program provides different levels of housing according to need. Some young people will continue to live with their foster of kinship carers, while others will require COMPASS housing.
COMPASS catchment areas are the DHHS areas of Western Melbourne, Brimbank Melton, Loddon (Greater Bendigo, Campaspe, and Central Goldfields LGAs) and North East Melbourne (Darebin, Whittlesea) and Hume Moreland.
